Der Chichin ist ein neuer Rucksack aus dem technischen Rucksacksortiment.

Overall the experience with the bag was good, it felt like a comfortable and sustainable bag for the purpose of canyoning. I’ve tested in in Jordan, in which the canyons are made of sandstone and are dry.
Specific feedback:
• Water outlet on the under side allowed quick release of water. Improvement can be made on top size of the bag, as there is hardly any water release. This would improve getting the bag out of water in other than upright position.
• Materials of which the bag is made are very sustainable, despite the friction in sand canyon, no real signs of wear and tear were discovered after the trip. Material clips on the straps were found to be useful tool, material loop was not used. Improvement can be made by giving rope loops a colour (like red and black), to easily identify end of rope / start.
• Comfort of the bag was ok, with adjustable straps on the waist and around the shoulders. Waist band was to tight due to friction of the bugle. Hip padding was great addition, however, wondering how it would fit people with wider hips (not tested). Chest strap was placed too high for me – this should definitely be corrected in next production sequence.
• Space was ok for barrel with dry stuff and one 80 meter rope and some additional gear. Bigger size bag is welcomed. Features on bag cover were identified but not used during the trip.
• Unisex logo made from figure eight – if meant as art than it is up to Rodcle to decide. If meant to identify as unisex indication I would strongly suggest to get it off. I would reason bag is for all sexes, unless stated otherwise, the logo then does not add value.
Must change is the chest strap, as this one is placed too high (at least for me). The rest will improve the function / wear ability of the bag.
