Crete is well known as a destination for early and late season canyoning… Almost 15 years after publishing a first book (which was quickly sold out), Yiannis Bromirakis returns to us with a completely revised and largely completed book. Thus, the book now contains descriptions for 80 canyons (versus 34 in the old edition)! For each canyon, you will find photos, access map, topographical section, description in Greek and English, technical characteristics, GPS points, travel time, etc…

This is a completely new canyoning topo guide for the island of Crete – Greece, designed entirely from scratch. A southeastern European island with so many canyoning options. Some of the most beautiful canyons in Europe are located in Crete. Ha, Arvi and Portela. The mild climate of Crete and the magical scenery of colors and smells makes Crete a great canyoning destination. The new guide topo book includes 80 canyons,  with 106 color photographs, detailed maps, all information you need, descriptions, GPS points and canyon sections in 380 illustration colorful pages. The book’s dimension is 22 by 14.6cm, and weighs 830 grams.  The guide is written in two languages: English and Greek. Printed on glossy paper with a waterproof cover. All photos, texts, maps, topos and research were made by Yiannis Bromirakis. First printed on 13 October 2021.
