Description
Ira Lewis has taken over the San Juan Mountains of Colorado Canyoning exploration and guidebook project – and the result is this FABULOUS amazing beautiful guidebook. Features 55 canyon routes in Ouray and surrounding areas including Silverton, Durango, Pagosa Springs, Telluride and Marble. Many pictures, many topos.
The author is excited to announce the arrival of this new guide book: Canyoning in the Colorado San Juan Mountains.
This full color, 540 page canyoning guide book includes 40 new canyons across the San Juan and West Elk Mountains and updates the original series of Ouray Canyoning books by Michael Dallin. With a new author and editor, the information about classic Ouray and Silverton canyons has been fully revised.
This book includes new topographical maps, canyon profile maps (available only in the book), and a complete re-edit of every canyon to be current with newer anchors (there have been a lot of updates to the classic canyons).
