The profits that we make from this book are donated to the non-profit organisation “Kom op tegen Kanker” in remembrance of our dear friend Luc who died of this terrible disease in 2022, and who absolutely loved Ticino. “Kom op tegen Kanker” is a Flemish non-governmental organisation and non-profit organisation active in the fight against cancer. The organisation is committed to three goals: less cancer, more cure and a better quality of life for those who have (had) cancer. “Kom op tegen Kanker” simultaneously advocates for a better cancer policy and structural solutions to prevent, fight and alleviate the disease. To do so, they mobilise as many people as possible to get involved as healthcare volunteers, campaigners or donors.
