Description
In addition to a training framework, the educational contents and illustrations detail the essential topics for practicing canyoning in safety: knowledge of the environment, preparation of a trip, fundamental techniques and progression as a team, group supervision and activity teaching, accident and rescue management. Produced in partnership with the PETZL Foundation, this professional manual is the result of 30 years of training at the CREPS Rhône-Alpes, for all canyon professionals and autonomous practitioners wishing to progress.
This professional canyoning manual has been designed by CREPS Auvergne Rhône Alpes de Vallon Pont d’Arc
This second edition benefits from an update of the contents: 8 new determination keys, reorganization of the chapters “team progression” and “assistance and rescue”, and new contents on the teaching of the activity. Some drawings have also been modified following recent tests and feedback from the field.
