Especially for cutting ropes, fabrics and straps made from synthetic fibres. It gives continuity and regularity to the process, allowing neat and precise cutting to be achieved. Traditional mechanical cutting such as scissors or knives require additional finishing (severing or heat-sealing) which makes the operation more expensive and time consuming.

This simplified cutting system is highly efficient. The blade (directly heated by the transformator) of the cutting gun heats up to 600 centigrades in 5 to 8 seconds. In ropes or strands the proximity of the fibre bundles leads them to fuse, so forming a uniform plastified film in the area of the cut.
