Static rope Tendon Salamander 10.2mm
As the name implies, the canyoning rope Salamander is an amphibian. With a diameter of 10.2 millimeters it has an excellent knotability even after repeated wetting, retains its softness and improved resistance – properties that predetermine the rope to be used especially in canyoning to where it belongs primarily. Salamander is a lightweight rope which keeps its user-friendly properties for a long time thanks to its construction.
The Salamander is a specially designed rope for Canyoning. Like all Elite models, the core and sheath are connected by a thread. The construction and materials used assist in minimizing the shrinkage of the rope in a wet environment. Salamander has a thicker and coarser sheath and floats on water.
It is manufactured with ELITE technology (patented) which connects the core and the sheath, which assures zero sheath slippage. It is also thanks to this technology that the salamander retains an excellent fluidity even after being wet several times, but also very little elongation. Its thick sheath and its special braiding give it a high resistance to abrasion (friction).
Its color makes it possible to spot it even in the darkest canyons or in the movements of water.

Ik gebruik dit touw in combi met Petzl en Kordas. Tendon voelt lekker in de hand, is flexibel genoeg om knopen te leggen, zowel droog als nat. Glijdt minder dan de Petzl en is minder stijf dan Kordas. Droogt sneller dan Kordas. Kortom, totnogtoe best tevreden van.
